Concrete Resurfacing in Jacksonville, FL
Restore existing concrete with overlay systems, micro-toppings, and surface coatings. FL Certified Building Contractor CBC1269043.
When resurfacing is the right choice
Concrete resurfacing makes sense when the existing slab is structurally sound but the surface is worn, stained, or dated. A 1/8 to 1/4 inch overlay bonded to the existing concrete can restore appearance, add slip resistance, or change the decorative character at a fraction of full replacement cost.
Resurfacing does not fix structural problems. We assess the existing slab before recommending overlay. If there is active cracking, settlement, or base failure, overlay is not the right tool. We tell you which situation you are in before you spend money on a solution that will not last.
Jacksonville's UV intensity is among the highest in the continental US. Any overlay system we use on exterior concrete must be UV-stable and specified for Florida's thermal expansion range.
Resurfacing systems we install in Jacksonville
Spray-Texture Overlay
Polymer-modified cement overlay applied 1/16 to 1/8 inch thick. Can be stamped or given knockdown texture. Popular for pool decks and patios.
Micro-Topping
Ultra-thin cement-based overlay for interior polished concrete floors. Creates a seamless, modern surface on sound existing slabs.
Decorative Overlay
Stamped or hand-textured overlays that add pattern and color to existing slabs without full replacement cost.
Epoxy Coating
Two-part epoxy for garage floors, commercial floors, and warehouse slabs. Chemical resistant, abrasion resistant. Available with anti-slip aggregate.
Polyurea Coating
Fast-cure floor coating returning to service in 4 to 8 hours. More UV-stable than epoxy for exterior use.
Color Staining
Penetrating acid stain or acetone dye for permanent color without coating thickness. Good where height increase is a concern.
